　　苏州工业园区外国语学校幼儿园自2011年9月创立以来，引进国内外先进的教育教学理念，以养活教育课程为基石，融汇中外融合课程、户外运动课程、特色艺术课程、阅读启智课程及社会实践课程，致力于培养孩子们善于发现问题、有勇气面对问题、有能力解决问题，让每一位孩子都能成为一个有用的人。

　　Since started in September, 2011, SIPFLS Kindergarten have been working on the Sport curriculum, Art curriculum, Reading curriculum and Social studies with the advanced education concept. All of courses are on the basis of the self-reliance and bilingual education. We have been foucing on educating the kids to good at discovering the problems and be brave enough to face the problems and also be capable to solve the problems. We hope each kid can become a useful person in the future.

　　3-6岁是养活教育的钻石年龄，活在这个世界上，有两方面的能力是不可缺的，一是生活自理，二是有支撑生存的收入来源。所以当孩子刚有能力模仿大人做事的时候，就要教会他们做简单的饭菜，打理个人的卫生，训练他们的语言表达和情感交流，能独立出行，待人接物有礼貌，有自己喜欢的事……久而久之，便具备“诚实、勤劳、有爱心、不走捷径”的价值观。这时他们便具备了人生的选择能力。

　　每天的午餐时间，是践行养活教育最好的时机，我们引导幼儿在餐后，有序排队整理收拾餐盒，处理残羹剩菜，教会他们做不会做的事，让他们不断改善和完善会做的事。

　　The best time to start Self-reliance Education is age 3-6. One needs two basic skills to survive in this world: self-reliant skills and stable income. Therefore when children have the ability to imitate adults, they need to be taught to cook simple meals, maintain personal hygiene, improve communication skills, always be polite and find their hobbies. Accordingly, they may embrace the value of “Honesty, Hardworking, Love for others and Responsibility” and have the ability to choose independently.

　　Lunch hour is the best time to practice Self-reliance Education. After meal, our young students are required to wait in line, clean the table and handle the leftovers. This encourages them to learn what they cannot do and motivates them to constantly improve what they can do.
